About the role

  • Guggenheim Securities ("GS") is seeking an experienced Associate / Vice President to join its Private Capital Advisory team in New York.
  • Private Capital Advisory is a rapidly growing and critically important strategic initiative for Guggenheim Securities.
  • Candidates will join a highly collaborative team that works very closely with industry bankers on its transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and development of financial models and valuation analysis
  • Perform company and fund-level due diligence, prepare confidential information memoranda and other transaction-related documentation
  • Manage investor outreach and facilitate due diligence process
  • Gather and analyze information, develop, and communicate recommendations to senior team
  • Associates play an integral role in enhancing client relationships, new business development and transaction execution-providing critical support on all workstreams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 3 years of investment banking experience or equivalent experience

Nice to have

  • 4-8 years of work experience (private capital advisory experience is preferred)
  • Core modeling and valuation experience
  • Significant level of maturity and the ability to interface with top private equity sponsors, secondary investors, and internal senior management
  • Understanding of the private equity and secondaries markets
  • Highly organized and motivated, with the initiative and ability to work with limited supervision
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Effective process management abilities

Compensation

  • Annual base salary between $175,000 and $250,000.
  • The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position.
  • The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
