About the role

Responsible for coordination, prioritizing and enabling daily production activities.
Assist with meeting incentive metrics goals (safety, on-time delivery, efficiency, and productivity).

Ensure production activities are completed in accordance with design and process documentation
Lead daily production meetings and assist with creating and publishing daily/weekly/monthly metrics
Use data and continuous improvement tools to resolve internal and external corrective actions and drive process improvement
Manage daily/weekly output based on material/capacity availability, and proactively identify and resolve potential bottlenecks.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, stand and walk.
The employee will frequently be required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
Knowledge of lean practices and continuous improvement tools
5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment required with demonstrated project leadership responsibilities
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate the ability to lead by example and to provide guidance and mentoring to peers and to promote team work

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Inventory Management software (Mapics experience a plus)
