About the role
- This leader will roll up their sleeves and work both independently and as a manager.
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly close process and prepare and analyze financial statements, including income. statements, balance sheets, and statements of cash flow
- Drive opportunities for process improvements and automation, optimize our accounting systems and tools, and lead the implementation of accounting best practices
- Develop, implement and enforce financial controls and policies
- Own digital asset reporting and reconciliations
- Provide support to the management team in making informed financial decisions
- Work with our tax partners to prepare and file tax documents and returns
- Build and mentor the Accounting team

Requirements
- A strong grasp of US GAAP, experience with accounting systems and integrations (such as QuickBooks, Stripe, Ramp), and a mindset focused on automation, documentation, and continuous improvement.
