About the role

  • Position Purpose: The District Asset Protection Manager (DAPM) is responsible for teaching, coaching, and training associates to ensure the effective execution of core Asset Protection initiatives.
  • Review Front End Accuracy standards to include Accuracy/Theft and Fraud initiatives and G.E.T initiatives.
  • Ensure stores are driving a safety culture by promoting safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • 25% - Driving Execution - Drive execution of the Merchandise Protection Standards (MPS), Pick Ticket, and Lockup programs.
  • Build Relations and engage and walk with Government Relations and Law Enforcement for localized support.
  • 50% - Internal and External Theft and Fraud - Perform timely entry of internal cases into the case management system in accordance with AP Policy
  • Review available resources to identify key theft trends by class and SKU for internal and external theft and create solutions.
  • Build partnerships with local law enforcement in order to strengthen THD's brand.
  • Monitors shrink indicators and drives execution of initiatives.
  • Manages the Company's shrink reduction strategy.
  • Teach, coach, train, and develop AP associates to ensure theft mitigation processes are executed, developing leads, documenting known thefts, cases are documented properly and opportunities are addressed.
  • 50% - Internal and External Theft and Fraud - Perform timely entry of internal cases into the case management system in accordance with AP Policy; to include activity cans, review alerts, and physical security.
  • Drive execution of the Merchandise Protection Standards (MPS), Pick Ticket, and Lockup programs.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of an associate's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
