Responsibilities
- Build, enhance, and maintain Android applications that deliver reliable, high-quality experiences for travelers and partners.
- Contribute to system design, low-level design, API design, and data modeling for mobile features and services within the role's ownership scope.
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to translate product and technical requirements into scalable Android solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency with Android development and core software engineering practices, including object-oriented design, debugging, automated testing, and version control.
Nice to have
- Experience designing and operating Android applications at scale, with a focus on reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Strong operational discipline, including monitoring, troubleshooting, incident response, and using data to improve application quality and customer outcomes.
- Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products, including integrating AI-enabled capabilities into Android experiences.
- Experience applying AI-assisted development or testing workflows to improve engineering productivity, product quality, or operational outcomes.
- The total cash range for this position in Montreal is $108,500.00 to $152,000.00.
- Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $173,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
