Responsibilities
- Support daily/weekly team meetings by participating in ways to help the team improve
- Oversee daily shift backlogs. Maintain continual oversight to RFI backlogs and incoming backlogs to ensure compliance to metric targets
- Maintain strict material handling practices in accordance with procedures
- Maintain good housekeeping and organization of areas for efficiency
- Support the organization's metric goals and objectives
- Level 1: $22.00 - $24.50 + $2.00/hour lead differential
- Level 2: $24.50 - $27.00 + $2.00/hour lead differential
- Level 3: $26.00 - $31.50 + $2.00/hour lead differential
- $26.00 - $31.50 + $2.00/hour lead differential
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
- 1+ years of experience working at SpaceX in materials management
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
- Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position
- Receive, store, and issue raw material, parts, details and hardware as required to support shop operations
- Perform picking function to make up necessary kits of parts, material and hardware as required
- Maintain accurate temperature requirements for all required temperature sensitive materials
- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Capability to operate a forklift and other related inventory equipment
- Experience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic fields
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience and understanding of inventory and kitting processes
- Detail oriented, organized, and demonstrates a high sense of urgency
