About the role

  • The Security Compliance Officer (SCO) is responsible for monitoring contractors, vendors, and other authorized personnel working within Restricted and Critical Areas of Halifax Stanfield International Airport.
  • PLEASE NOTE: This is a casual, part-time, project-based position.
  • Project durations may range from one day to two years and may require day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Requirements

  • Skills and Abilities: (Minimum Required)
  • Complete all required on-the-job and mandatory airport security training.
  • Ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)

  • Resolute when enforcing the ASP and not easily influenced by others

Compensation

  • $25.00 per hour
  • 10 Paid Sick Days per year
  • Annual paid loyalty award
