About the role
- Based in Williston, North Dakota, this hands-on role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing the mechanical equipment that keeps our facilities operating safely and efficiently.
- You'll work on a variety of equipment, including natural gas and diesel engines, compressors, pumps, generators, turbines, valves, and other rotating and fixed assets essential to our midstream operations.
- This position offers a highly desirable 4/10 work schedule, alternating between Monday-Thursday and Tuesday-Friday shifts, providing extended weekends throughout the year.
Responsibilities
- Build your career with ONEOK as a Mechanic - Intermediate supporting critical natural gas gathering and processing operations in the heart of the Bakken.
- Team members also participate in an on-call rotation to support safe and reliable operations.
- You'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance, analyze equipment performance, complete inspections and documentation, order parts and materials, and support the reliability of critical gathering and processing facilities.
- Service, troubleshoot, maintain, install and repair structural, mechanical, electrical and/or well equipment. Conduct performance analyses, including emissions testing
- Maintain, prepare and/or interpret reports and/or records including, but not limited to:
- Drive and ensure maintenance is complete on company vehicles
Requirements
- Knowledge of: ordering and/or securing parts and supplies
- Knowledge of: reading and interpreting work and repair orders, drawings, charts, diagrams, dials, gauges, warranties, quotations, procedures and equipment manuals
- Ability to: apply addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, and percentages
- Ability to: communicate and/or exchange information and instructions
- Ability to: react immediately to emergency situations to prevent injury to self and others
- Ability to: work in confined areas
- Ability to: utilize fine motor skills for making minute adjustments

Compensation
- In addition to a competitive compensation package, employees receive a $1,500 monthly geographic allowance, 6% profit sharing, and a 7% short-term incentive opportunity.
