About the role

Job Description Summary Note: This position will follow our hybrid work model, we expect the selected candidate to be in the office 3 days a week at the St.
Petersburg, FL Corporate Office location.
This role is not eligible for Work Visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.

Creates detailed business requirements for functional (e.g., business processes, rules) and non-functional (e.g., data, security) capabilities.
Provides support for application development teams, including documenting business processes.
May take a leading role in developing estimates and implementation plans for technical solutions.
Works with User Experience / Design resources to help visualize requirements into prototype.
Validates test cases to ensure that scripts will evaluate the business function being performed.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The candidate will gain subject matter expertise and demonstrate the ability to integrate domain knowledge with an understanding of financial services standards and practices.
May be required to act as project lead on small to medium projects and/or provide direction to others on the team.
Computer and Information Science, High School (HS) (Required)

Experience in working with IT and business stakeholders at various levels is required.
Experience with gathering business requirements is required.
Experience with data analysis/data mapping and the ability to query relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server) is required.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Detailed understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum, Waterfall).
Experience with Mainframe / HP NonStop / SIS Back Office is preferred.
Experience with reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., SSRS, Tableau) is preferred.
Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite - Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word.

More than five (5) years of relevant technical business analysis or technical analysis experience is highly preferred.
Financial Services experience is highly preferred.
