- Radiation Effects Engineer As a Radiation Effects Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the electrical survivability of our spacecraft by analyzing, designing, and testing robust electronic systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), or a related technical field (Physics, Nuclear Engineering) with a focus on electronics
- Experience in testing and debugging complex analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits using standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
- Experience engineering fault-tolerant, high-reliability electrical hardware architectures
- Experience configuring electrical test setups and running measurement campaigns at radiation test facilities
- Proficiency with ECAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout (e.g., Altium Designer) and familiarity with MCAD (Solidworks)
- U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required

Nice to have
- Coordinate and execute electrical radiation testing campaigns to upscreen COTS and automotive-grade components
- Assist in recruiting and hiring additional teammates to our rapidly-growing team
Compensation
- $120,000 - $145,000 USD
- Astranis pay ranges are informed and defined through professional-grade salary surveys and compensation data sources.
