About the role

  • The current vacancy is assigned to the Barranca Vista Center (BVC), which serves children, youth, adults, seniors, and families through a range of recreational programs, classes, and activities.

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders.
  • Monitoring program effectiveness and recommending improvements to enhance services, meet community needs, and support continuous program development.
  • Representing the City by attending meetings, giving presentations, and serving as a liaison to community groups, boards, commissions, and partner organizations.
  • Experience planning community programs, managing events, developing partnerships, and providing outstanding public service will contribute to success in this position.
  • Provides senior, arts, and cultural programs, manages historic sites and community centers, coordinates citywide events and film permits, oversees volunteer and grant programs, and supports the Arts and Culture Commission.

Requirements

  • Depending on assignment, possession of a valid California Class C driver's license may be required.
