Requirements

  • You have a passion for uncovering trends and insights from data and finding creative solutions to challenges.
  • You enjoy following the latest trends and experiments in the industry.
  • You are thoughtful about the large and small strategies that can improve audiences' experience of journalism.
  • 3+ years of experience in website or content analytics
  • Proven expertise and deep experience with Google Analytics (or similar) and data analysis using Google Sheets or Excel
  • Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision as well as in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience fetching and analyzing data using tools such as SQL, Python, R and/or analytics APIs
  • Experience working in a newsroom with a variety of stakeholders including editors, reporters, and newsroom leaders
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a constantly changing environment

Compensation

  • The actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
  • $73,600 - $101,300.
