Responsibilities
- Administer and coordinate design and construction activities for complex and/or high-visibility projects.
- Manage project planning, problem-solving, and execution to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Review design and construction documents to identify and resolve errors early in the process.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers on change orders, technical issues, and document interpretations to ensure code-compliant, structurally sound, and visually cohesive facilities.
- Maintain continuous communication with contractors, construction managers, school personnel, and senior project staff.
- Mentor and support junior project managers and contractors, offering guidance on project execution and problem-solving.
- These positions support public agency clients/projects, and are based in field offices in New York City.
Nice to have
- Construction management experience with public agencies in NYC is strongly preferred.
Compensation
- $90,000 - $125,000 USD
- Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related field. #LI-Onsite
