Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and implement maintenance methods and procedures to reduce downtime, minimize operating costs, and optimize use of technicians, materials, and assets.
  • Partner with manufacturing teams to meet production targets and quality objectives.
  • Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) pillars to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Lead efforts in 5S, Visual Factory, and spare parts management.
  • Drive improvements during equipment changes, including root cause analysis and hazard identification.
  • Maintain a maintenance master plan aligned with business goals.
  • Coordinate support services such as machining, welding, and electrical work.
  • Job Purpose Reporting to the Plant Manager, this individual will lead a team of technicians to safely manage all maintenance operations for the site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Engineering or related field) with 7+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing maintenance teams and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of TPM, preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, and condition-based maintenance.
  • Experience using data and monitoring systems to improve reliability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in extreme temperatures (above 100°F or below 32°F).
  • Must follow all safety rules and wear required protective equipment.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with shop floor systems (PC, PLC, robotics preferred).
