About the role

We are looking for an electrical harness engineer who can play a key role in the development of our battery's low voltage architecture.
You will be part of a rapidly growing team responsible for harness schematics, component selection, PCBA and sensor interfaces, as well as working with vendors and in-house test teams for validation testing.
The staff harness engineer shall have had exposure to a broad range of technical challenges and methods in the context of product development, including sealed component selection, EMI mitigation, DFM/DFA considerations.

Create and maintain 2D electrical single and multi-line schematics, draft harness assembly drawings for wire harness assemblies
Define ICDs (interface control document) between PCBA controllers and devices (sensors, actuators, and other controllers).
Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers on wire harness CAD routing in consideration of Poka Yoke and DFA.
Hands on support of system level bring-up and validation, as well as 5D/8D experience.
Hands-on experience designing and building electro-mechanical systems and harnesses

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering OR Mechatronics Engineering

7+ years experience in product development (experience in energy storage or automotive is a plus)
