Responsibilities
- You will ensure effective operational support, service performance, and readiness of data solutions by coordinating cross-team activities, managing dependencies, and supporting the execution of delivery and operational objectives in alignment with architectural standards, business priorities, and service management best practices.
- The successful candidate is responsible for leading data platform operations and enabling effective delivery, operationalization, and ongoing support of enterprise data, analytics, and platform solutions.
- Leads the transition and operational readiness of data solutions into production, ensuring alignment across delivery and operations teams and that support processes, documentation, and resources are in place.
- Ensures operational runbooks, support procedures, and platform operating standards are established, maintained, and effectively executed through coordination of technical teams to support operational stability, service performance, and overall platform reliability.
- Manages and approves secure access to SGI cloud platforms and services, ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Leads and matures IT Service Management (ITSM) practices as they relate to data platforms and analytics services.
- Oversees the execution of major incidents and root cause analysis processes related to data platforms and data availability issues by monitoring progress, removing blockers, and coordinating cross-functional support.
- Partners with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational resilience for data platforms.
- Drives continuous improvement of data operations through KPI-driven insights and service optimization.
- Enables standardized approaches to data platform support, deployment, and lifecycle management.
