These services are well-suited for products that require a high level of manufacturing repeatability and accuracy.
Order materials and components needed for fixture construction.
Machine components such as stops, clamps, and pads using milling machines and lathes.

Build and assemble fixtures and tooling to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and repeatability.
Utilize material handling equipment to build and move fixtures safely.
Collaborate with manufacturing to adjust, repair, and modify tooling.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards.

Under general supervision, the Tool Builder is responsible for building, modifying, and maintaining tooling and fixtures that improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and repeatability.
This role interprets engineering drawings and collaborates with manufacturing teams to deliver tooling solutions that meet production and quality requirements.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
Knowledge of manufacturing systems, steel fabrication, sheet and plate metals, and welding processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including weld symbols and GD&T.
Proficiency with hand tools and precision measurement equipment.
Must be able to work on multiple projects at the same time.
Certifications: Forklift and crane certification is required.
Design fixtures using CAD software (SolidWorks or equivalent) as required.
Support production start-ups and troubleshooting activities Complete and maintain required documentation.
Travel as required.
