About the role

Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating a plan of care for a specific patient assignment.
Sets priorities when organizing care for patients with varying acuity.

Maintain continuity through clear and concise (verbal and written) communication.
Demonstrates awareness of the need to manage within established budgetary boundaries.
Functionally responsible for the supervision of other RNs, technical and support personnel.

Current Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required within the last 6 months involving any aspect of the IR procedural patient's care (pre/intra/post).
Port experience preferred
Procedural sedation experience required
ACLS required or obtained within the first 3 months of hire
Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract

The RN must show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients.
Must demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities.
Must be able to function under stress with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Work entails walking and lifting.
The registered nurse demonstrates initiative, knowledge and clinical skills in caring for the patient with complex needs.

$41.71 - $105.65/Hourly
