About the role
- Job Objective: The Marine Logistics Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing marine vessel movement operations at marine terminals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain short-term and long-term marine loading schedules.
- Optimize dock utilization and minimize vessel turnaround time.
- Monitor pipeline and tank inventory availability to support loading plans.
- Support shift turnover with clear status reporting.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years directly related experience in one of the following: Marine operations, Terminal operations or Pipeline scheduling.
- Ability to accurately solve problems and exceptional proficiency in data management.
- Ability to perform tasks and achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and precision.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, high pressure work environment which requires the ability to balance multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills required
- Proficiency in the use and application of:
- Required: Graduation from high school and meet minimum experience requirement.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
- Ability to provide high-level remote oversight of terminal operations from a corporate office environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- On-call availability for evenings, weekends and holidays
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
