Your engineering ingenuity, wonder & magic in coming up with a powertrain that supports the concepts will be instrumental in shaping the perception of Scout as a brand, as well as gaining peer admiration in the automotive industry.
Own development and integration of assigned drive system functions and calibration activities.
Take over responsibility for requirements definition and function design
Calibrate & create with collaboration, a Scout specific driving experience that allows other teams to contribute and implement their necessities
Lead calibration execution and validation activities within assigned feature scope across prototype and serial development phases.
Partner with other concept & systems architect teams to come up with solution to engineering & functional challenges
Hands-on prototyping and building capability, from initial operation to coordinating and implementing software
Independently manage assigned calibration and function-development activities, with work reviewed at key release and validation milestones.
Motivated engineer wanting to work at the cutting edge of electric vehicle technical design, create new ideas and solutions, enjoy hands-on testing
Strong interpersonal skills including ownership, self-motivated, problem solving, analytical, team player, innovative, creative, communication skills and ability to develop & mutually thrive in working relationships

Be involved other related tasks / activities as required
Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
To be considered for career opportunities at Scout Motors, applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Relevant degree such as bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Technology, IT systems, or Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university, preferably in electrical engineering
4+ years of experience in concept engineering or serial development, in the work scope of calibration and validation of software functions and the needed calibration tools including ETAS and Matlab
Preferability experience with function development, integration and testing of drive system functionalities in regards to drivability and torque control

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program.
Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $110,000.00 - $135,000.00
