About the role

  • The Anna Shaw Children's Institute (ASCI) is a developmental behavioral practice and an affiliate of Hamilton Healthcare System, Inc. ("HHCS").
  • ASCI was created as a responsive entity to meet the medical and psychiatric pediatric care services needs for children with developmental delays and/or the behavioral issues related to those delays within Dalton, Georgia and the surrounding region.
  • Additionally, the ASCI will provide Physical, Occupational, Speech and Feeding therapy services to the same pediatric population.

Responsibilities

  • Applicants will deliver ABA intervention directly to children using a variety of methodologies including, but not limited to naturalistic teaching, discrete trial training, pivotal response training.
  • The RBT will monitor the progress of individuals under their care and collaborate with family members or other care providers to determine how to best address long-term individual care goals.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • National certification as Registered Behavioral Technician required.
  • This individual must have an ability to genuinely connect with children and a passion for children with developmental delays.
  • Certification: National certification as Registered Behavioral Technician required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with young children on the autism spectrum is preferred.
  • Psychology degree preferred.
