Manage the full contract lifecycle from initial draft through execution and fulfillment, coordinating with business leadership and project teams on deal terms, risk allocation, and enforcement.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage the subcontract lifecycle, from negotiating terms/modifications through operational application execution and fulfillment, coordinating with business leadership and project teams on deal terms, risk allocation, and enforcement.
Negotiate Master Subcontract Agreements (MSA) and Work Authorizations with subcontractor trade partners.
Support negotiation and review of Professional Services Agreements (PSA) with architects, engineers, surveyors, and other consultants.
Manage and resolve contract disputes with subcontractors, owners, and other project stakeholders, including negotiation of settlements and enforcement of contractual remedies.
Handle litigation matters (where licensed), including complaints, answers, motions, discovery, depositions, and trial support where appropriate.
Hire, direct, and oversee outside counsel on matters in jurisdictions or matters requiring external support.
Manage document production and preservation efforts related to active disputes and litigation.
Legal Advisory and Business Support
Create and deliver training to leadership teams and operational personnel regarding legal and legal-adjacent topics applicable to their work.

Active bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. state required (Colorado, Texas, and/or Georgia strongly preferred)
must be willing and able to obtain Colorado licensure (and potentially others) through reciprocity or examination.
At least 8 years of relevant legal experience with track record of increased responsibility
construction or AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry experience strongly preferred.
Familiarity with corporate governance and HR/employment matters preferred.
