About the role

This position provides leadership and direction for statewide eligibility operations, Customer Service Centers, workforce management, performance improvement, and operational initiatives through administrators and managers.
This role oversees a large and complex operation consisting of multiple regional offices, Customer Service Centers, and approximately 750-900 eligibility staff statewide.

include establishing operational priorities, monitoring performance, developing leaders, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement to ensure quality service and positive outcomes for Nebraskans.

OR a Master's degree in any of the above mentioned fields and two years commensurate experience.

Five or more years of experience leading eligibility operations or human services programs.
Experience overseeing Medicaid and Economic Assistance eligibility programs.
Experience managing customer service center operations.
Experience implementing business process improvements, technology solutions, or automation initiatives.
Experience utilizing data and performance measures to improve timeliness, accuracy, and customer service.
