Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience in the janitorial and/or facilities maintenance field including light maintenance
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Analyzes the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required.
  • Keep current all necessary licenses, permits and certifications required by QTS procedures.

Nice to have

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Position may involve frequent typing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and lifting.
  • Lifting requirements may range from less than 50 lbs. to 75 lbs. on a regular basis with heavier weights done in conjunction with other team members of lifting aids.

Skills

  • Ability to lift and work from ladders and scaffolding
  • Ability to walk, stand, and sit for 8-12 hours.
  • Demonstrated reliable attendance and performance
  • The ability to pass job-related skills assessments based on pre-determined scoring criteria and time frames
  • The ability to acquire and apply job-related knowledge within set guidelines and expectations
  • Inventory Management including shop maintenance and inventory controls
  • General construction skills and familiarity of hand tools
  • Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team-oriented environment
  • Logistics management
  • Build vendor relationships and coordinate on-site activities
  • Emergency System Infrastructure, Operating Procedures, mock drills, and adherence
  • Change Management Process
