Requirements
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging way
Nice to have
- Provide one-on-one and/or small group tutoring to high school students
- Review and explain scientific concepts, lab work, and problem-solving techniques
- Help students prepare for classroom exams, standardized tests (e.g., SAT, ACT, AP), and school projects
- Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with parents, teachers, or academic coordinators
- Facilitate Liberty Partnerships Program Assessments and other LPP tasks as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Degree
- Some College Preferred
Skills
- Experience with New York City High School Science curricula
- Familiarity with virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
