About the role
- Summary of Role: GlobalFoundries Fab 9 (Essex Jct., VT) is seeking a Maintenance Shift Manager (MSM).
- This is a 12-hour Night position on the N1 shift (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Saturday).

Responsibilities
- Daily management of technical resources to maintain equipment used in a semiconductor manufacturing line.
- Drive overall equipment stability to meet critical KPI's (net MT, stability, M-ratio).
- Organize and drive training to address skills deficiencies on the team.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians and management on understanding and implementing best practices.
- This individual will manage & lead the Etch and PVD Module Maintenance Technicians along with Maintenance Tool Owners in a matrix assigned module.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor fabricator or similar, in addition to people leadership experience.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs, and wear all personal protective equipment required for entry into a cleanroom environment.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical or engineering field.
- 6+ years of experience in semiconductor fabricator.
- Skills - Technical skills/background within the semiconductor fabricator or similar fabricator for minimum ten years.
- Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter
- the ability to navigate ambiguity.
