Responsibilities
- As a Third Year Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice you will perform tasks in mechanical servicing, repair and maintenance of KBL's fleet of heavy trucks and trailers.

- Artificial intelligence (AI) may be used to support the preliminary screening and evaluation of resumes submitted in response to our job postings as part of our recruitment process.
Requirements
- Must be capable of heavy lifting and moving parts up to 75 lbs. on a consistent basis.
- Work with Equipment Manager to schedule required servicing to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
- Complete necessary repairs and required maintenance as per the scheduled servicing
- Have experience with highway units on operations and maintenance
Skills
- Keep tools clean and stored when not in use
- Ensure parts are where they should be
- Assist Service Manager with parts and inventory management
- Located at our KBL shop in Leduc, this job is on an 8 and 6 rotation, possibility of some overtime hours.
- Experience working on Heavy on Road Trucks and Trailers, Side and End Dump.
- Familiar with Peterbilt/ Western Start/Kenworth is considered an asset
- Possession of valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivator willing to work overtime if needed
