Responsibilities
- Prepares, mixes, matches, primes, sands, seals, patches and paints furniture, canvas, walls, floors, doors, cabinets, building surfaces and fixtures of all types of painting materials such as varnish, lacquer, shellac, enamel, latex, epoxy, water-proof and heat resistant finishes.
- Operates, cleans and maintains all painting equipment including brush, roll, sprayers and pumps, etc. Safely stores and labels all material.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of Proven experience as a commercial or residential painter, preferably in a hotel or facilities setting.
- Valid state driver's license required.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting safety rules, maintenance manuals, and equipment instructions.
- Comfort working with computers and Windows-based software systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and written with team members, leaders and guests required.

- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, particularly in handling specialized surfaces or finishes.
- Safely operate, clean, and maintain a range of painting tools and equipment, including brushes, rollers, sprayers, and pumps.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and remain outdoors for extended periods as needed.
