About the role

  • Flight Line Cabin Systems Readiness Technician Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes is hiring for FRT (Flight Readiness Technician) Cabin System Readiness Technician (Level A/B/C) for Variable Shifts.
  • You will receive an email invitation at the address you provided in your application.
  • From the date of the invitation, you will have 5 days to complete the assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Performs Cabin repairs and functional testing
  • Performs flight test installations and aircraft functional testing.
  • Assists with pre-flight and post-flight checks and performs maintenance and modification actions.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work any shift including days, nights and weekends.
  • Minimum 3 months experience with live aircraft systems and flight operations
  • Knowledge and experience with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk

Nice to have

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant license.
  • Minimum 3 months of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum 3 months of 787 Program Experience.
  • Familiar with Boeing Production System
  • Experience with Field/Flight Line Operations
  • Conflict of Interest Succ essful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
  • This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Compensation

  • $59,000 - 60,000​
  • $66,000 - 78,000​
  • $75,600 - 79,800​
  • Summary pay range (Entry Level/A): $59,000 - 60,000​
  • Summary pay range (Experienced/B): $66,000 - 78,000​
  • Summary pay range (Senior/C): $75,600 - 79,800​

  • This position will support the 787 Program Boeing South Carolina Delivery Center Operations Team in North Charleston, South Carolina.
  • This position will provide critical production support to the Delivery Center including improving production efficiency, safety and optimizing product quality.
  • Performs Cabin repairs, final component installation and systems operational functional testing.
  • Performs rework, modification, maintenance, preflight and post-flight checks for delivery, inspect and document non-conformance.
