About the role
- SUMMARY The Construction Survey Coordinator plays a key role in supporting our field survey crews and project managers by coordinating construction staking efforts and preparing accurate proposals and estimates.
- This hybrid role requires both strong organizational skills and technical knowledge to bridge the gap between the field, office, and client.
Responsibilities
- Track project progress and proactively manage deadlines, materials, and crew workloads
- Estimating & Proposal Support
- Collaborate with survey managers and engineers to develop project scope and cost breakdowns
- Maintain cost databases and historical pricing information
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in land surveying, with at least 2 years in construction staking coordination
- 2+ years of experience in estimating survey work or related civil engineering services.
- Strong understanding of land development processes and construction documents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and project management software
- Familiarity with local regulations, survey standards, and construction practices
- Analyze construction documents, specifications, and plans to determine required services
