Responsibilities
- This role's primary responsibility will be providing molecular biology lab support by:
- Maintaining a reliable molecular screening pipeline to support the discovery, characterization, and development of genome editing applications.
- Numerous development opportunities offered to build your skills
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related field.
- Preferred candidates would have a minimum of 1 year of related experience, or equivalent levels of relevant education and experience.
Nice to have
- Experience and working knowledge of basic molecular biology techniques such PCR, gel electrophoresis, and nucleic acid characterization are desired.
- Molecular biology experience a plus.
- Attention to detail and ability to stay focused while performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to function both independently and as a respectful team member.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills are required.
- Experience with problem solving and process improvement are a plus.
- Experience with computer systems and standard software programs.
Compensation
- Four weeks of paid time off and two weeks of well-being pay per year, plus paid holidays
