About the role

In this role, you will contribute to structural engineering projects from concept through construction while continuing to grow as a licensed professional.
You will take on meaningful project responsibilities, strengthen your technical and leadership skills, and contribute to impactful work locally and nationwide.

Manage all aspects of structural engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building types and materials
Collaborate with clients to understand project goals and maintain clear, consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle
Prepare, review, and coordinate engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports in accordance with applicable building codes
Monitor project progress, identify risks or challenges, and implement mitigation strategies to support successful outcomes
Support KPFF's mission of creating a perpetual organization built on happy people, happy clients, strong financial outcomes, and great engineering
Strong knowledge of applicable building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC)

Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, RAM Structural System, RISA‑3D, or similar

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering (Master's preferred)
