Responsibilities
- Support continued curriculum development for workshops covering financial literacy topics
- Research local agencies and organizations to expand community partnerships for client referrals and support advocacy efforts
- Develop personal finance tools and resources, including translatable user guides, to share with clients
- Provide general administrative support
- A force for humanity, IRC employees deliver lasting impact by restoring safety, dignity and hope to millions.
- Tasks may include conducting outreach to clients, supporting clients with loan applications, and assisting in developing workshops.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree or recent graduate.
- Familiarity with a coaching model and related activities
- Proven ability to work with consideration and respect
- Ability to work independently
- Interns must be able to work at least 10 hours a week for at least three months
Nice to have
- Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle preferred
Compensation
- $20k-$25k
