  • WFAA-TV, the TEGNA ABC in Dallas seeks a full-time Broadcast Engineer to join the Technology team.

Responsibilities

  • Support day to day operations of station including all daily news operations, equipment, and computer-based IT systems.
  • Perform routine security updates and reboots of broadcast servers.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years' experience in broadcast engineering or related.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, take initiative, and work well with others.
  • Ability to plan technical projects and clearly communicate the status of problems, provide updates to progress on projects, and offer solutions to technical issues.
  • The ideal candidate can balance multiple ongoing projects while addressing the immediate maintenance needs of a 24/7 operation.
  • If you enjoy problem solving, are a people person, like solving technical/IT challenges and enjoy communicating, we want to hear from you.
  • Minor building-related maintenance tasks occasionally required.

Compensation
