- WFAA-TV, the TEGNA ABC in Dallas seeks a full-time Broadcast Engineer to join the Technology team.
Responsibilities
- Support day to day operations of station including all daily news operations, equipment, and computer-based IT systems.
- Perform routine security updates and reboots of broadcast servers.
Requirements
- 5-7 years' experience in broadcast engineering or related.
- Ability to work well under pressure, take initiative, and work well with others.
- Ability to plan technical projects and clearly communicate the status of problems, provide updates to progress on projects, and offer solutions to technical issues.
- The ideal candidate can balance multiple ongoing projects while addressing the immediate maintenance needs of a 24/7 operation.
- If you enjoy problem solving, are a people person, like solving technical/IT challenges and enjoy communicating, we want to hear from you.
- Minor building-related maintenance tasks occasionally required.
Compensation
