About the role

  • SEL is seeking a PCB Designer to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment designing printed circuit boards for high-reliability applications.
  • Location Information: Pullman, WA - T his position is located in Pullman, WA.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop PCB layouts from schematics under the mentorship of experienced Designers and Engineers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to translate schematic intent into reliable PCB designs.
  • Schedule and lead design review meetings for assigned projects, incorporating feedback and driving design improvements.
  • Perform component placement, routing, and design rule implementation with attention to signal integrity, power integrity, and manufacturability.
  • Perform Layout based simulations.
  • Generate fabrication and assembly documentation (Gerbers, drawings, BOMs) to support manufacturing.
  • Support PCB fabrication, assembly, and test by working with internal teams and external vendors to resolve design issues.
  • Adhere to and help maintain PCB design standards and IPC guidelines.
  • Involvement across the design development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline, OR equivalent professional experience
  • Experience with CAD tools (such as Allegro, Xpedition, Altium, Solidworks, or similar CAD platforms).
  • Experience creating and managing ECAD libraries (symbols, footprints, and components).

Compensation

  • Information: ​
  • $32.00 - $48.00 per hour. Our salary ranges are determined by job and responsibility. We base our starting pay offer and title on job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
