the lottery is wage-weighted — each level is one more entry

Level I · 1×
Level I$94,3701 entry
Level II$123,8432 entries
Level III$153,3173 entries
Level IV$182,7904 entries

$15,843 more — $123,843 — moves this role to Level II and 2 lottery entries. That figure is inside the range the employer already advertised.

Based on the DOL prevailing wage for this occupation and worksite, a base salary of $123,843 would place this position at wage Level II. That figure is within the posted range, and I'd like to target it. This role classifies under "Software Developers" for prevailing-wage purposes.

Employer immigration record

from this employer's Department of Labor filings

Green-card follow-through: 50%

Of 10 labor certifications old enough to have been used, 5 expired without the employer filing the next step. Reported a layoff in this occupation

In a green-card filing decided 2026-05-27, this employer stated it had laid off workers in Software Developers (CA) during the preceding six months.Describes the period before that filing, not necessarily today. Unlike WARN notices this is occupation-specific and federal.

Files H-1B transfers

3 transfer filings in the last year, covering 3 workers. Median labor-condition decision: 8 days. An employer that already files transfers is one that can take over an existing H-1B.
