About the role

  • growing adoption, running pilots with real schools and districts, turning messy customer signal into a sharp roadmap, and making confident product decisions every day without waiting for permission.
  • There is no playbook and no process machine; you get a mandate, real data, real customers, and a senior engineering team, and we trust you to make good calls.
  • In the last four months the team has shipped two new products into real schools, and there is more on the way.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day product direction across one or more products, including our recently launched products: roadmap, prioritization, release decisions, and outcomes.
  • Run beta and pilot programs end to end: recruit and manage pilot schools and districts, structure the feedback loops, decide what graduates and what gets cut.
  • Turn usage data, support themes, sales asks, and customer conversations into a ranked, defensible plan. Define the metrics that tell us whether the products are working and instrument what is missing.
  • Ship on a weekly cadence with a senior engineering team and a design partner: crisp written specs and decision memos, fast tradeoff calls, no ceremony for ceremony's sake.
  • Partner with go-to-market at the right gates (pricing tests, messaging validation, launch readiness) once concepts are validated, while protecting early-stage work from premature process.
  • At GoGuardian, we're helping build a future where all learners are ready and inspired to solve the world's greatest challenges.

Requirements

  • 5+ years as the decision-making product manager on live software products, including at least one product you ran after launch through growth.
  • Our process asks you to write because the job does: you can compress a messy situation into two clear pages.

Nice to have

  • A varied and challenging role in an innovative, global company.
  • Supportive, driven colleagues who have your back and share your passion.
  • Caring about whether schools are safe and engaging places to learn is a requirement.

  • The typical base salary range for this position is $170,000-190,000 per year.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay, complete health insurance, 401(k) matching, and an employee equity plan.
  • Flexible time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and a paid year-end holiday break.
  • A robust catalog of benefits that support your professional growth and personal wellbeing, including work from home funds, fertility & adoption reimbursement, and more…
  • Additional benefits information is listed on our careers page.
  • Our award-winning system of learning solutions is purpose-built for K-12 and trusted by school leaders to promote effective teaching and equitable engagement while helping empower educators to keep students safe.
  • We are an outcomes-focused learning company with a steadfast focus on improving learning environments, one classroom at a time.
  • K-12 or education technology experience is a plus, not a requirement.

Company info

  • a small senior team with its own mandate, its own operating space, and a direct line to leadership.
  • We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to help drive this portfolio forward.
  • You will have a hand in everything the team does: growing the products we have already launched, shaping the ones in flight, and helping validate what comes next.
  • The center of gravity of the role is making products win in the market: growing adoption, running pilots with real schools and districts, turning messy customer signal into a sharp roadmap, and making confident product decisions every day without waiting for permission.
  • This is a high-autonomy seat.
  • Contribute to discovery and validation of new product opportunities, with room to take on bigger ownership as the portfolio grows.
  • 5+ years as the decision-making product manager on live software products, including at least one product you ran after launch through growth. We will ask, specifically, what you personally decided and what happened.
