Responsibilities

  • Workforce Development: Lead the music therapy internship program, providing high-quality supervision, mentorship, and clinical evaluation for students.
  • BMHI is looking for a creative, mission-driven Senior Music Therapist to design and deliver impactful, community-centered programming across the greater Boston area.

Requirements

  • Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) status and a Master's degree in Music Therapy.
  • Experience with participatory, context-based Community Music Therapy approaches.
  • 5-7 years of experience in mental health settings utilizing trauma-informed frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success in group facilitation, program evaluation, and student internship supervision.
  • Reliable transportation for effective travel to off-site partner locations around greater Boston.

Compensation

  • Hiring Range: $73,000 to $85,000; salary dependent on relevant experience and education.
