About the role
- Shape the future of Remix's planning platform by identifying opportunities that span products, creating long-term experience visions, and influencing roadmap decisions with user-centered thinking.
- 7+ years designing complex SaaS, enterprise, or professional software products, with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership from discovery through launch.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of complex planning workflows that help transit agencies design, evaluate, and evolve fixed-route and demand-responsive transit networks serving millions of riders worldwide.
- Drive product direction from early discovery through launch by conducting customer research, exploring concepts, prototyping ideas, and translating insights into polished, production-ready experiences.
- Design sophisticated workflows for enterprise users, balancing technical constraints, data-rich interfaces, and powerful functionality without sacrificing usability or craft.
- Raise the quality bar across the product through thoughtful interaction design, strong visual execution, design critiques, and meaningful contributions to our design system.
- You communicate design rationale clearly, seek feedback early, and help elevate the work of those around you through thoughtful critique and mentorship.
- Exceptional interaction and visual design skills, with a portfolio demonstrating thoughtful wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-quality product experiences.
- You're excited to explore emerging AI-powered design tools and workflows and are curious about how AI can accelerate design exploration, prototyping, and collaboration while maintaining a high bar for craft.

Compensation
- Final salary will be determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, and skills. Salary reflected does not include equity or variable pay, where applicable.
