About the role
- At BioLegend, this position contributes to new product development by performing bioassays to evaluate recombinant proteins and neutralizing antibodies.
- Primary responsibilities include executing cell-based and binding assays to assess functional activity in accordance with established SOPs, as well as supporting the development, optimization, and validation of new bioassays.
Responsibilities
- Maintain tumor cell lines using aseptic technique.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Science (Biology, Immunology, or other related discipline)
- 2 years of academic or industry laboratory experience
- 1+ year of experience with tissue culture of mammalian cell lines
- The role requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear.
Nice to have
- Experience in primary cell cultures
- 2 years of experience in performing bioassay
- Familiarity with basic lab equipment and knowledge of lab safety protocols
- Outstanding organization and communication
- Highly motivated and a good team player
Compensation
- The base salary range for this full-time position is $23.00 - $30.75/Hour.
