About the role

  • The course enrollment capacity is 30 undergraduate students.
  • Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations
  • Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance

Responsibilities

  • Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
  • Create asynchronous video lectures and other online instruction
  • Create or update course materials as needed, in consultation with iSchool staff
  • Support students via synchronous office hours and communications such as email

Nice to have

  • Experience teaching at the graduate level
  • Prior teaching experience in online formats
  • Minimum of a Master's degree in Information Studies or related field required.

Compensation

  • The minimum full-time equivalent (FTE) salary is $50,115.
  • Actual pay will be determined by your qualifications, appointment percentage, and prior higher education teaching experience.
