Requirements
- 2 years to complete advanced MRI certification.
- If not registered in CT, must become CT registered within 2 years of hire date.
- Licensure/Certification: ARRT registry, registry eligible or other required certifications per modality as listed.
- In the following areas, modality specific registries are required to be obtained within time specified below:
- Must be able to function independently.
- Must have good computer and communication skills.
Nice to have
- Operates highly specialized, technical equipment to obtain quality images.
- Performs IV contrast injections and other skills as required.
- May schedule and register patients.
- Evaluates, prepares, positions and observes patients with a high degree of professional ethics, care, courtesy, patience and safety.
- Complies with all Carilion Clinic and Imaging policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Trains students and staff as assigned.
- Interprets information needed to identify patient's requirement relative to specific needs and provides care per applicable policy and procedures.
- May provide care at other Carilion facilities to meet patient needs.

Compensation
- $30.47 - $45.71 Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience.
