About the role
- Sandvik Coromant is looking for an Assembly Technician - 1st Shift Location: Mebane, NC Sandvik Coromant is a global leader in cutting tools, tooling solutions, and metalworking expertise.
- JOB PURPOSE The Assembly Technician is an entry-level role focused on basic assembly tasks under close supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic assembly operations and manual tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and follow safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Experience with machining and cutting operations is essential.
- Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the USA.
- no prior assembly experience required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge or 5S and lean manufacturing is preferred.
Skills

- Operate black oxide line and conduct hardness checks on incoming parts to ensure quality standards are met.
