About the role

  • You will conduct research for ongoing projects and will work with account teams to execute projects and meet client goals and objectives.
  • In this role, you must keep up-to-date on key issues and current events for clients, and remain informed about market and industry trends.

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will develop in-depth knowledge of clients' objectives and challenges in order to assist them through challenging situations and prepare them for future issues.
  • Manage client expectations and participate in preparing new business presentations
  • You'll be assigned a dedicated coach to mentor, guide and support you through regular coaching sessions and serve as an advocate for your professional growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant industry or field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience (communications agency, state/federal government, journalism, think tanks, etc.)
  • Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed

Nice to have

  • Energy, natural gas, utility, and energy adjacent (i.e. data centers) experience a plus, but not required
  • Interest in public policy and energy sector issues
  • Solid grasp of public relations, including traditional media relations experience, as well as digital and social media program management experience
  • Experience with popular blogging tools, publishing software and other social media platforms
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, deadline-oriented dynamic environment with regular change
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Understanding of Associated Press Style Guidelines
  • Minimum Pay: $80,000

Compensation

  • Minimum Pay: $80,000
  • Maximum Pay: $119,000
  • Compensation Disclosure: The compensation range reflects potential base salary for the role.
  • Actual compensation is determined based on a wide array of relevant factors including market considerations, business needs, and an individual's location, skills, level of experience, and qualifications.
