About the role
- The Industrial Engineer II applies engineering techniques to design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, and cost analysis to large scale projects.
Responsibilities
- Support and leverage lean practice processes such as standard work and changeover.
- Create resource management and cost optimization plan.
- Support the launch of new products and ensure seamless integration into production by participating in launch teams.
- Support development and implementation of new process designs.
- Maintain and improve inventory accuracy through BOM's, routings, MES/Oracle transactions, & physical cycle counts.
- Own document control through Work Standards, Visual Aids, Bill of Materials, Control Plans, FMEA's, and Process Flow Charts.
- Fostering Teamwork - Building effective partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
- Complying with all Company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely perform all duties, including but not limited to, promoting a safe workplace.
