About the role
- Reporting to the Sr Director, Operations, the Production Manager will be responsible for guiding and coordinating manufacturing activities, including the launch and expansion of a new electrostatic paint line.
- Visit and coordinate with external suppliers to ensure proper equipment setup and process readiness.
- Plan and prioritize production schedules based on demand, materials, and equipment availability.
Responsibilities
- This leader will drive production performance across areas such as multi-level assembly, testing, quality, and finishing processes, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, and delivery goals.
- Lead daily production operations to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Support the installation and ramp-up of a new electrostatic painting line (new production line).
- Manage resources (labor, materials, equipment) to ensure efficient and continuous operations.
- Recruit, hire, and develop an initial team of ~10-15 operators, scaling workforce for future growth.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of electrostatic painting, conveyor systems, or similar finishing processes.
