Responsibilities
- In this role, you will serve as the strategic bridge between business stakeholders, operations, compliance, architecture, and engineering - driving analysis, design, delivery, and validation of payment solutions in a highly regulated financial services environment.
- You will own outcomes across the full product lifecycle, embedding AI-native practices and regulatory controls into every stage of delivery.
- Own the product backlog, roadmap, and business outcomes for payment processing and platform modernization initiatives; monitor and control delivery activities according to plan.
- Lead requirements elicitation, solution design, and cross-functional alignment across multiple lines of business.
- Design and analyze payment capabilities across High-Value Payments, including Domestic and Cross-Border payments, SWIFT MT/MX messaging, and ISO 20022 initiatives.
- Embed sanctions screening, AML controls, and regulatory requirements directly into payment workflows and system design.
- Champion AI-assisted delivery practices across the SDLC to drive automation and continuous improvement.

Requirements
- 7+ years in Financial Services, Payments, or Banking Technology, with 5+ years in Technical Product Ownership, Business Systems Analysis, or equivalent.
- Deep expertise in High-Value Payments, RTGS settlement, SWIFT MT/MX messaging, and ISO 20022 standards.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation capabilities and the ability to determine the information needs of diverse stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience working in a matrix environment such as a large, publicly traded financial institution.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted tooling and automation practices applied across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence in an enterprise delivery context.
- Strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to facilitate alignment among key decision makers across functions and business lines.
