About the role
- Process Operators focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment including:
- Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
- Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
Requirements
- You have a passion for innovation, and want to work with other dedicated individuals?
- Overtime may be required based on business needs, including during peak production periods or to cover absences.
- Obtain in process samples and run required test specifications.
- Safely perform all required duties.
- Required to learn all aspects of Process Operation via a progressive training program and demonstrate proficiency.
- Considerable care required in monitoring control centers, reviewing information, making independent and informed decisions, and operating equipment safely and efficiently to ensure continuity of operations.
- Ability to wear personnel protective equipment (PPE), safety shoes, hearing protection, safety googles, and hard hats.
Compensation
- Starting pay for this position is $32.43/hour.
