About the role

B&F Contracting is looking for a Project Manager to oversee underground wet utility projects, including water, sewer, and storm drain construction, for both municipal and commercial in southern Arizona.
This role is primarily focused on construction-phase management, with responsibility for coordinating crews, managing subcontractors, controlling costs, and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor and control field costs, manpower, equipment, and materials to keep projects on track.

Our PMs lead with Teamwork, Integrity, Accountability, and Safety, ensuring that projects are built the right way - safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, subcontract agreements, and pay applications.
Lead project meetings with owners, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and address issues as they arise.
Work closely with superintendents and foremen to coordinate daily activities, resolve issues, and maintain productivity.
Maintain proactive communication with the Division Manager and leadership team, reporting on progress, challenges, and performance.
Drive and enforce B&F's Safety program across all project sites.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and vendors, representing B&F with professionalism and integrity.
Lead by example, holding yourself and your team accountable for results.
Delegate responsibilities effectively across Assistant PMs, PEs, and field staff to maximize efficiency and support development.
Mentor and develop Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, supporting their growth into future leaders.
