About the role

  • The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, possesses strong mechanical aptitude, and is comfortable working outdoors in dynamic field environments.
  • This role is well-suited for individuals with experience in erosion control, stormwater management, environmental services, construction, landscaping, water treatment, plumbing, or related trades.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain water treatment systems in the field
  • Support installation, mobilization, and demobilization of treatment systems and erosion control solutions
  • Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of pumps, valves, motors, and related equipment
  • Maintain field logs, reports, and project documentation
  • Support shop and yard operations, including organization, cleaning, and equipment staging
  • Collaborate with team members, contractors, and project stakeholders to support successful project execution
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, contractors, and team members
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and time management skills

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting stormwater compliance or construction site environmental controls
  • Experience with pumps, valves, motors, and water treatment equipment
  • Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts
  • Experience towing trailers and transporting equipment
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and environmental regulations
  • Experience reading site plans, SWPPPs, or erosion control plans

Compensation

  • $28.00 - $32.00/ hour based on interview outcome and qualifications
