About the role
- The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, possesses strong mechanical aptitude, and is comfortable working outdoors in dynamic field environments.
- This role is well-suited for individuals with experience in erosion control, stormwater management, environmental services, construction, landscaping, water treatment, plumbing, or related trades.
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain water treatment systems in the field
- Support installation, mobilization, and demobilization of treatment systems and erosion control solutions
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of pumps, valves, motors, and related equipment
- Maintain field logs, reports, and project documentation
- Support shop and yard operations, including organization, cleaning, and equipment staging
- Collaborate with team members, contractors, and project stakeholders to support successful project execution
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, contractors, and team members
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and time management skills
Nice to have
- Experience supporting stormwater compliance or construction site environmental controls
- Experience with pumps, valves, motors, and water treatment equipment
- Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts
- Experience towing trailers and transporting equipment
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and environmental regulations
- Experience reading site plans, SWPPPs, or erosion control plans

Compensation
- $28.00 - $32.00/ hour based on interview outcome and qualifications
